Piers Morgan has hit out at those criticising Prime Minister Boris Johnson after he was transferred to intensive care as his battle with coronavirus worsens.

The 55-year-old Good Morning Britain host was straight to the point in a late night rant at 'disrespectful' critics of the country's political leader.

Last night it was announced that Boris, 55, had been transferred to ICU after his condition worsened following his admission to St Thomas' Hospital early Sunday evening.

Piers took to Twitter to take issue with those that have knocked the Conservative leader, telling them: "If you have nothing positive to say about Boris Johnson on here tonight, then shut the f*** up. "The man is our Prime Minister & he is fighting for his life." Wit
