Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Comedian Syd Little revealed that his co-star Eddie Large was 'laughing through the pain' before he tragically passed away after contracting Covid-19.

Known as comedy duo Little and Large, his co-star opened up about the last time he spoke to Eddie hours before his death in an gut-wrenching interview.

Funnyman Eddie Large died on April 2 after contracting Covid-19 at the age of 78. His family were unable to be by his side because of strict rules keeping coronavirus patients isolated.

Speaking via video link on Good Morning Britain, Syd choked up as he recalled making jokes with his friend one final time. "It wasn't nice, he was in pain, he really was.
