Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan has banned any ministers from appearing on the show who have supported Dominic Cummings after more allegations about the chief advisor.

Piers took to social media to announce the decision as pressure mounting for Cummings to step down after reports he visited his parents in Durham twice during lockdown while showing coronavirus symptoms.

He wrote: "In light of today’s developments, I am regretfully forced to ban all cabinet ministers from appearing on @GMB until further notice. "Only exceptions will be those who didn’t publicly support Cummings breaching a lockdown that the Govt forced on the rest of us ‘to save lives’." In another message, he wrote "Remember their names" before listing cabinet
