Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

GOOD MORNING Britain has been hit with another 212 complaints after Piers Morgan tore into MP Therese Coffey and said footballers "can't keep it in their pants".

It was another week full of fierce debate and passionate rants as Piers continued his coverage of the coronavirus pandemic alongside Susanna Reid.

The pair are having a well-earned rest this week after a fiery few shows between May 18 and May 22, which led to more than 200 complaints.

It all kicked off last Monday on the day Piers blasted footballers after Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi broke lockdown with a model.
