Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan has admitted that he is desperate to return to the US for a prolonged summer holiday - and is planning to use his daughter to 'sneak' back in.

America's top health expert Dr Anthony Fauci has said British holidaymakers can expect to be banned from travelling to the US for months under coronavirus restrictions.

But Piers is keen to find a way to return to the US for the summer and questioned whether he could use his daughter Elise. "I think if you have a child who was born in the United States," Piers began.

Susanna interjected: "And has a right to go back." "I think she can go in with parental guardian," Piers continued. "Or guardians and I need to have that clarified. "You mean your entire family, your extended family?"
