PIERS Morgan has revealed seven members of his family have battled coronavirus, days after he admitted he was a "covidiot" and had flouted lockdown rules.
The Good Morning Britain presenter shared the news on social media after columnist Allison Pearson had said "hardly anyone" she asked knew someone who'd had coronavirus. "Three good friends of mine lost parents to covid," Piers revealed. "My colleague Kate Garraway’s husband is in a coma from it. "My parents just had it.
One of my sons just had it. One of my brothers, his wife, & their eldest daughter just had it. My niece just had it." He concluded: "Consider yourself lucky." The 55-year-old had enjoyed a night out with his wife Celia but failed to wear a mask as he climbed into a taxi.
