PIERS Morgan was left in tears today as war veteran Ken Benbow, 94, cried over his "wonderful life" and his carers on Good Morning Britain.
Piers, 54, watched from home on today as tears rolled down Ken's cheeks and he heaped praise on his 17-year-old carer Kia Tobin.
The pair appeared on the ITV breakfast show on on VE Day to discuss his life with Ben Shephard and Charlotte Hawkins. Ken, who joined the navy aged 17 to fight in the war, had gone viral in a sweet video clip of his care home worker Kia gifting him a pillow with his wife's picture on it.
And Piers watched GMB from home as he prepared to return to work on Monday following his negative coronavirus test. He shared the clip from GMB and captioned it with a crying emoji.
