Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan has declared he's cut ties with Alan Sugar because their coronavirus battles have ruined their friendship. The pair have been pals for years and enjoyed a long-running friendly feud for years.

However, the light-hearted banter turned nasty in recent weeks as the pair clashed over the Covid-19 outbreak. Piers, 55, has now insisted he's done with his former friend.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, he explained: "It's gone way beyond a joke, and for me it's ruined our friendship. "I think we're done as friends.

I can't see through the behaviour." The pair previously clashed after Lord Sugar defended Brits rights to sunbathe in parks.
