Today's Good Morning Britain saw the First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon appear on the show to discuss coronavirus lockdown plans.

However, things quickly turned fiery as the 49-year-old politician asked Piers Morgan, 55, not to interrupt her in an awkward on air moment.

Piers had embarked on raging rant about "dangerous mixed messages" in terms of new government measures. They were discussing Boris Johnson putting in place a new "Stay Alert, Control the Virus, Save Lives" slogan for all to follow.

Nicola revealed she spoke to the PM and advised him to stick with the "stay home" message. She said: "I had a conversation with the Prime Minister last week, I made it very clear to him we should stick with the 'Stay at Home message. "
