PHILADELPHIA - The Pennsylvania State Police provided updated totals on recent road-rage related shootings, and they're asking for the public's help in investigating and preventing interstate shootings. In the last three years, authorities say there has been an increase in the number of road rage-related shootings on the interstates surrounding Philadelphia. In 2020, Pennsylvania State Police say they investigated only four interstate shootings, but in 2022, that number spiked to 20. Officials say this year is on pace to match or surpass last year's totals with troopers reporting that they've already responded to ten interstate shootings. There have been a total of 40 reported road rage-related shootings since 2020 and of those 40, eight victims were struck by gunfire, according to State Police.

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. - A 29-year-old woman accused of using false documents to enroll as a New Jersey high school student and attend some classes over a four-day period will be allowed to enter a pretrial intervention program, a state judge ruled Monday.The woman had pleaded not guilty in March to a charge of providing a false government document. Her lawyer has said she did so because she was lonely and longed to return to her days with friends in school but now realizes she made a mistake.

WASHINGTON - Two staff members were assaulted with a baseball bat at the office of Virginia Congressman Gerry Connolly Monday afternoon. Connolly said in a statement that an individual with a baseball bat entered his office and asked for him, before attacking two members of his staff. Police were on the scene Monday afternoon at the congressman's district office at 10680 Main Street in Fairfax, VA, investigating the incident. The two victims are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to police. The suspect has been identified as Xuan-Kha Tran Pham, 49, of Fairfax.

BENSALEM, Pa. - A Bucks County teen is using his differences to build a brand that supports people with special needs and raises money for people with down syndrome. 19-year-old Nolan Slaweski is preparing to graduate from Archbishop Wood High School, and as he walks to the stage in his cap and gown, he'll be holding his head high knowing he has a diploma and his own small business. Two years ago, after Nolan came home from Tim Tebow's Rising Light Ridge camp, he introduced a new saying to his mom, which is how the brand, "Built Different," blossomed. "He knows what he wants, and he went to camp and came home saying, ‘I’m built different,'" said Nolan's mom, Colleen Slawesk. "I thought that's such an amazing thing for him to recognize his differences."Nolan has down syndrome, and he began designing t-shirts, hats, and other items, all branded with his saying, "Built Different." He started selling the merchandise two months ago on World Down Syndrome Day, and he hasn't looked back since. "Everybody is different, just like me," said Nolan.

FARMINGTON, N.M. - At least three people were dead and multiple others wounded Monday after a shooting in Farmington, New Mexico, police said, and schools citywide were put on lockdown."There are multiple civilian victims," Farmington police reported via Facebook, adding that one suspect "was confronted and killed on scene."Two officers were shot including a member of the city police and one with the New Mexico State Police, the message said. PHILADELPHIA - Court documents reveal how investigators were able to tie a formerly incarcerated woman to the orchestrated escape of two Philadelphia inmates that sparked a citywide manhunt. Xianni Stalling, 21, was taken into custody Thursday in connection to the Sunday night escape of Ameen Hust, 18, and Nasir Grant, 24, from Philadelphia Industrial Correctional Center. The inmates were absent for three headcounts in the hours following their escape, but prison officials say they were not aware Hurst and Grant were gone until late Monday afternoon. Sources told FOX 29 the inmates' cell doors and the door to a recreation yard were left unlocked, which allowed the duo to pass through undetected before escaping through a hole in a fence. From there, an affidavit claims Hurst and Grant were able to climb over two additional barbed wire fences and onto the 8300 block of State Road. The woman has been charged with criminal conspiracy, hindering apprehension, escape and use of a communication facility, according to Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner.Documents show that three hours before the escape, Hurst had a phone conversation with an unknown man during which he made arrangements to be picked up near a bridge behind the prison.Authorities believe that Xianni Stallings helped facilitate that conversation, and alluded to Hurst and Grant's escape during a video call with another prisoner a day later. During that conversation, court documents say Stallings appeared shocked that the unnamed inmate she spoke to hadn't heard about the prison break. "You had the opportunity to run from jail," Stallings is allegedly heard saying.
