Premier League clubs to meet on Friday to decide season restart plans

Premier League clubs will hold a conference call on Friday to discuss a return to action in June. UEFA demanded the Premier League communicate their plans for the remainder of the season by May 25, with the European football governing body "ideally" wanting all leagues to finish naturally.

Ligue 1 and Eredivisie have both been cancelled with the Belgium Pro League set to follow suit in the coming days. Sky Sports report the Premier League will only go ahead if the UK government gives their approval, with the current lockdown restrictions set to be reviewed on May 7.
