The Premier League has it back at EFL chairman Rick Parry in the row over parachute payments to clubs relegated from the top flight.
Parry launched a stinging attack on the state of English football earlier this week in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic that has brought sport to a standstill.
Parry described parachute payments of at least £100m to those relegated to the Championship as 'evil' - and called for them to be eradicated from the game.
Parry believes professional football is starting into the abyss with clubs running up huge debts due to the lack of matches - and has called on the sport to reset itself following the pandemic.
