Piers Stefan Pughe-Morgan (born 30 March 1965) is an English broadcaster, journalist, writer, and television personality. He is currently a co-presenter of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain from Monday to Wednesday each week. Morgan began his career in Fleet Street as a writer and editor for several tabloid papers, including The Sun, News of the World, and the Daily Mirror. In 1994, aged 29, he was appointed editor of the News of the World by Rupert Murdoch, which made him the youngest editor of a British national newspaper in more than half a century.

Piers Morgan has hit back at Jack Whitehall after the comedian made a cheeky video jokingly slamming the Good Morning Britain host.

Jack, 31, made the tongue-in-cheek video after his appearance on GMB earlier today. The comedy clip saw the comedian sat on the toilet before realising he had run out of loo roll.

His face was plastered with a look of horror that he'd run out of paper, with the picture turning black and white and "hello darkness, my old friend," playing in the background.

The camera then proceeded to zoom in on Jack's face as Simon and Garfunkel's The Sound Of Silence played. Jack then used the pages from 55-year-old presenter Piers Morgan's book Don't You Know Who I Am?
