A man who was released from prison as part of an attempt to limit the spread of coronavirus allegedly committed murder a day later.
Joseph Williams was facing drug charges when he was one of 164 supposedly low level inmates who were released early from Hillsborough County Jail in Florida.
But police believe Williams was the gunman who fatally shot a man just a day later in the Progress Village area. Williams was arrested on Monday in connection with the incident, which took place on March 20.
