Pub chain claims its found safe way to have a pint when coronavirus lockdown ends

A UK pub chain has developed safety measures which it says could allow venues to reopen safely this summer. The new measures include a one-way system to allow two-metres social distancing and perspex screens around tables.

The measures are being tested at the Betsey Wynne pub in Buckinghamshire, part of the Oakman Inns chain which has 25 venues across the country.

These would see drinkers enter and exit through different doors to enforce one-way footfall and using an app to order instead of rubbing shoulders at the bar.
