Michael Sheen was among the millions that tuned in to see the second instalment of Quiz but he was left fuming before the show even started.
The 51-year-old actor plays Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? quiz master Chris Tarrant in the three-part dramatisation of Charles Ingram cheating his way to winning the top prize.
Despite it being ITV's big hit of the coronavirus lockdown period, the name of the show's star turn seemed to escape the announcer, who introduced him wrongly.
As the continuity trailer introduced the second instalment of Quiz, the live announcer said "Martin Sheen" would be playing Millionaire host Chris Tarrant while "James Macfadyen" was playing Charles Ingram.
