The Odsonne Edouard transfer acceptance as Celtic hero 'too expensive' for Euro big hitters
Odsonne Edouard 's soaring transfer valuation has put him out of the reach of Borussia Dortmund and potentially a host of other suitors.SPORT1 claim the France U21 international was high on the Bundesliga big-hitters shopping list as a further option alongside Erling Haaland. They report Dortmund's chief scout Markus Pilawa watched the Celtic forward on several occasions and earmarked the 22-year-old as an ideal candidate to dovetail with their star turn. The extensive spying missions are a necessity for the German big boys who face the very real prospect of weighing up an offer for Haaland from some of Europe's biggest clubs.Get all the latest Celtic news sent straight to your Inbox every day by signing up to our newsletter. We cover every

Coronavirus: Conservatives want in person Parliament but no electronic voting
Conservatives have crusaded for a return to parliamentary business as usual but they’re opposed to the one thing Liberals and New Democrats insist is necessary to do that in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic: electronic voting.Conservative House leader Candice Bergen says her party is suspicious of anything promoted by the Liberals that would keep most MPs out of the House of Commons and, in her view, help the government avoid accountability.Besides, she says there are other options that would allow all 338 MPs to vote in person in the chamber while maintaining physical distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19.In a letter to Commons Speaker Anthony Rota earlier this month, Bergen suggested six different options, including having MPs

Human color awareness more limited than previously thought
35 million years ago, and it gives us a unique perspective on the world compared with most other mammals. The evolutionary advantage of color vision may stem from the ability to spot food or predators from long distances, but the ability to see the world in color confers much more than that. Seeing the beauty of the world with trichromatic vision has given us great artworks and is a fundamental part of the human experience for people with healthy vision.Yet, scientists do not completely understand how we perceive color and what it means to see color.

Is it safe to stay hotels? What you need to know about booking a room during COVID-19
COVID-19 restrictions begin to lift across the country, hotels are reopening — but how safe is it to stay a room right after another person?Ultimately, it depends on the precautions both you and the hotel take. The good news: Canadian hotels are implementing strict cleaning protocols, and that, combined with physical distancing and good hand hygiene, should make it relatively safe for you to spend a night away from home in the near future. “If people take proper precautions and the hotel really does follow these strict cleaning protocols … I think there’s a way that people can reasonably enjoy some time out of their homes in the safest way possible,” said Dr.

AMC Theatres in US change policy on mask wearing following backlash from cinema-goers
coronavirus. However, mask wearing was not a mandatory requirement for cinema-goers, only cinema workers.Speaking to Variety about the re-opening, AMC CEO Adam Aron said: “It might be counterproductive if we forced mask wearing on those people who believe strongly that it is not necessary.”Adding that he thought “the vast majority” of cinema-goers would wear masks, he said he didn’t want to make it obligatory because they didn’t want “to be drawn into a political controversy.”However, following an extensive backlash from customers, the cinema chain reversed its decision yesterday (June 20) and in a new statement, clarified that masks would be a requirement when their cinemas eventually reopen.AMC’s statement, via The Hollywood Reporter,

Could this workout help with post-coronavirus fatigue?
Amanda Bisk is a qualified exercise physiologist, elite athletics coach and yoga instructor with more than 20,000 YouTube followers. This is great for people like me who, at the end of week 12 of the restrictions, are feeling sluggish – in my case, due to post-viral fatigue after suffering from suspected Covid-19.
