SIMON Cowell has handed over his £1 million pay cheque from Marks & Spencer to charity, according to reports. The music mogul, 60, was apparently offered the huge sum to star in the retail giant's latest television advert, alongside his Britain's Got Talent co-stars.
But rather than keep the cash, Simon - who is dad to six-year-old Eric - is said to have donated his fee to the kids charity Together for Short Lives.
The organisation, which is desperate need of a boost due to the coronavirus pandemic, helps families of children with life-limiting conditions.
According to reports, M&S will now support the charity over the course of the next year with fundraising initiatives costing up to £1 million.
