Sporting Lisbon have reportedly been reported to FIFA by Sampdoria over their failure to pay fees regarding Bruno Fernandes' transfer to Manchester United.
Fernandes joined the Portuguese club from Sampdoria for a reported fee of around £7million plus bonuses in June 2017. But the deal included a sell-on clause which left the Italian club due a significant windfall when he was sold to Manchester United for a hefty fee of £46.5million potentially rising to £66.6million in the January transfer window.
Italian newspaper Il Secolo XIX now claim Sampdoria are owed £4million from Sporting Lisbon after the deal went through and have reported the club to FIFA after not receiving their installment.
