Starbucks has reopened 12 stores in Scotland for takeaway and drive-thru orders during lockdown. The coffee chain was forced to close all cafes in March when lockdown was first announced.
It has now reopened stores for drive-thru orders from today so fans can once again get their Starbucks fix. Cafes have opened in locations such as Dundee, Glasgow, Perth, Dunfermline, Hamilton and East Kilbride.A queue of motorists were today pictured snaking round the car park at the branch in Livingston waiting to be served.
Staff were seen wearing masks and gloves as they dished out drinks at the drive-thru window.The reopened stores will be offering a “near complete beverage menu”, including lattes, cappuccinos, iced coffees, teas and frappuccinos.
