Ford Kiernan is swapping high rises for house music as he prepares to release a new dance tune to raise money for a mental health charity. The Scots star - who played Jack Jarvis in cult Scottish comedy Still Game - has ventured into new territory by collaborating with Aberdeen DJ and producer RYZY.The idea for the song Coffee Man came about after Kiernan looked at some teabags in his sink and thought about how much of a mess they made.He said: "I had been at the kitchen sink one day and had this idea for a thing called Coffee Man."I jumped on TikTok with it while I still had it in my head."I don't know where it came from, to be honest."I was standing in the kitchen thinking how much of a mess tea bags make in the sink.

I started thinking, 'Tea bags in the sink, tea bags in the sink'."That's how these things happen if you're a creative type."Sometimes these things just bubble up in your head until you've no option but to try to record it."His video had 60,000 views within hours and before long, 500,000 people had seen it.The Chewin' The Fat star travelled to La Sierra Casa, near Alicante in Spain, to work with The View frontman Kyle Falconer after a conversation.Kiernan said: "I'd been to a few of Kyle's gigs and he asked me last year if I wanted to come to La Sierra Casa."I started to lean towards dance music after a few days.

he undergoes cancer treatment, and Kate Middleton sitting out royal engagements until after March 31 following her abdominal surgery, the royals are having to undergo a major reshuffle. As they navigate their health woes, the Duke of Sussex, 39, has reportedly offered up his services to the royal household, who will “manage” without, according to Grant Harrold, who worked for Charles for seven years when he was the Prince of Wales.“I’m sure Harry has offered to help, but I think at the moment they’re able to carry on and manage as they are — other members of the royal family are available to step in while key figures are recuperating, so it’s unlikely Harry will need to,” Harrold exclusively told The Post.“There’s obviously quite a few members of the royal family — they’re certainly not short of them — who can step up when in need. It’s not impossible for Harry to get more involved, though.”Harrold this week said he believes that the father of two will happily ditch California and step up to help out the royal family — should that be something they’d want him to do.However, it seems as though Harry’s help is not needed, as Prince William, 41, this week took the reins along with Princess Anne, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh while the King receives treatment.Queen Camilla, 76, for her part, has reportedly jetted off on a sunny vacation this week after an “exhausting” few weeks of extra official engagements.“As far as the King goes, he’s taking some time out while he has treatment.
