Strictly Come Dancing bosses consider drastic measures so the show can go on

Many shows due to begin filming in the upcoming months have had a serious knock due to the current global pandemic. This includes BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.

The idea of dancing with a partner for the show would make it very difficult to keep social distancing measures in place and so bosses have put forward a series of drastic measures.

These measures would be put in place so that the upcoming season could take place but it would mean a very different show than what viewers are used to.

BBC Director of Content Charlotte Moore revealed that they are doing everything they can to ensure the show goes on, even suggesting that the professional dancers and their celebrity dance partners quarantine together.
