Only Stockport registered a fall. Infection rates rose in all the other boroughs including Bolton which again recorded the highest of infection in England.
The borough recorded a rate of 433.0 cases per 100,000 people in the week ending May 23, according to the latest figures from PHE published today.
In Greater Manchester as a whole, the infection rate is now 88.6 cases per 100,000 population, well above the England average which is 24.1 cases per 100,000 people.
