The RAF have been making the most of clear skies and empty runways in Manchester again. This morning a Red Arrows Hawk was seen by many travelling over south Manchester towards Manchester Airport.
It was followed by a Chinook helicopter, which was seen leaving the airport shortly afterwards. The helicopter then travelled over Wythenshawe, Sale, Urmston and then was later seen in Prestwich.
Over the last week military planes have been a familiar site in the skies over the region. The RAF have been taking part in training exercises, which the force have stressed are not related to the coronavirus pandemic.
