For Luke Evans and his partner Sophie, the last few months have been extremely difficult. The couple, from Ashton, welcomed their baby son Arlo into the world six weeks earlier than planned.

At first, he was doing okay, but weeks into his short life, Arlo was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition - which led to a number of life-threatening health complications.

He is now at a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Manchester Children's Hospital and was taken off a ventilator last weekend.

His prognosis is poor, and all his parents are able to do at this stage is make their little boy as comfortable as possible.
