Firefighters are continuing to battle a moorland fire at Rakes Moss with two helicopters being used to help stop it from spreading.
Crews have been working since yesterday morning to tackle the blaze, which is on moorland just off the A628 Crowden to Glossop.
Firefighters from Derbyshire are being assisted by crews from the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, alongside landowners and United Utilities.
Two helicopters have been used to fight the fire and contain its spread. The fire service said a 'tactical plan' has been established and firefighting will continue until late tonight.
