A Scots dad separated from his newborn baby daughter for the first week of her life could only see her through a hospital window.

Heartbreaking photos show dad Chris Robson saying hello to little Daisy through the glass door at Dundee's Ninewells Hospital. When school support worker Victoria's waters broke on April 1, five weeks before her due date, maths teacher Chris thought it was an April Fool's prank.

Soon after, the pair arrived at Ninewells hospital but an anxious Chris was told to wait in the car park for two hours due to strict social distancing rules.

Daisy came into the world at 2.40pm that day and Chris was allowed in for 15 minutes to see her arrive. The doting dad had two precious hours with the tot before being told to leave.
