UK Government 'believes it's unlikely' coronavirus originated in Wuhan lab

The UK Government is reportedly sceptical of the Wuhan "lab leak" theory around coronavirus being pushed by the US and President Donald Trump.

Sky News reports "informed Whitehall sources" claim it's considered highly likely that SARS-CoV-2 (the strain which causes Covid-19) was naturally transmitted from animals to humans in a wet market without the involvement of any labs.

This has been the explanation given by the Chinese government since the onset of the pandemic more than five months ago, but US officials have begun pushing radical claims of a cover-up.
