The director of the labin China which has been at the centre of suspicion over the outbreak of coronavirus has dismissed claims the virus leaked from the facility.
Wuhan is at the centre of international suspicion after unverified reports suggesting Covid-19 which has killed around 340,000 people escaped from a research centre.
Research teams at the The Wuhan Institute of Virology led by Professor Shi Zhengli, have been researching bat coronaviruses since 2004 in a bid to eliminate the SARS virus.
Now its director Wang Yanyi has revealed in an a interview with state broadcaster CGTN that there are three strains of bat coronavirus onsite - but says they don't match the deadly Covid-19.
