A woman surviving off benefits has told how she has been left with just 7p in her purse - and been forced to sell her fridge to pay her heating bill.
Dallas Kennedy-Willows, from Greater Manchester, spends her days in isolation wrapped up in jumpers. At night she uses candles to light up her one-bed flat instead of electricity.
Being confined to her flat during the coronavirus lockdown has meant her bills have risen substantially, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Where she would normally spend several hours at the library applying for jobs, she has instead been forced to stay in, along with the rest of the country.
