A woman plunged 115-foot from a cliff to her death while posing for a picture to celebrate the end of the coronavirus lockdown in Turkey.

Olesya Suspitsyna, from Kazakhstan, fell in front of her female friend who was about to take photograph in the tourist city of Antalya in the south-west the country.

The incident occurred on Sunday as the government lifted coronavirus quarantine in the city. Reports say the 31-year-old went for a walk to an area known for its scenic waterfalls.

During the walk, Olesya decided to take a daring photo on the edge of a cliff with the waterfalls in the background. She climbed over the safety fence and started posing for the image in front of her friend, who has not been named.
