Cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed at 74 schools in Greater Manchester since they reopened earlier this month. Today marks exactly two weeks since schools reopened in full and thousands of children are back home remote learning.
We reported earlier how all year groups except for Year 7 were told to stay home from St Mary's Catholic High in Astley today after a number of students tested positive with lateral flow tests at the weekend.
Following an initial period of testing in schools, it's something all secondary and college students are now being asked to do at home - as they help to identify people who have Covid but aren't experiencing any symptoms.
