Adam Thomas has been 'honest' with his fans as he continues to keep them updated on his health journey. The actor was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 2023 at 34-years-old.
At the time, Adam, now 36, was preparing to take part in Strictly Come Dancing but later admitted during his time on the hit dance show that he's been in pain 'every day' since the start of the same year.
Later, after taking part in the BBC One dance contest, Adam told how his diagnosis had been changed to psoriatic arthritis, which is an autoimmune disease that causes joint pain, swelling and stiffness and although there is no "cure", medicine helps to manage symptoms.
Since his diagnosis, Adam has openly discussed his health with fans and has continued to update them while on his journey. Taking to his Instagram on Monday evening (February 10), the Waterloo Road star appeared on good form as he posed for a sweaty selfie having had a session in the gym.
