Bolton are set to return to normal next week, with others soon to follow. Bus services in the borough and around Greater Manchester have been reduced since the early weeks of lockdown, but will soon return to business as usual.
Routes were scaled back in late March, with a lot of hourly services pushed back to one bus every two hours, or stopped entirely.
With the next stage of lockdown to be lifted such as non-essential shops opening on Monday June 15, regional transport bosses have agreed to reinstate pre-coronavirus timetables.
