The Scottish Government today said that 87 people have now tested positive for coronavirus in Lanarkshire.That’s an increase of 12 from yesterday’s figure of 75.It comes as 22 patients across Scotland who tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) have died.The first case in Lanarkshire was confirmed on Sunday, March 8, when it was revealed someone from the Lanarkshire campus of the University of the West of Scotland (UWS), just outside Hamilton, had the COVID-19 strain.The test numbers for March 24 show:■ A total of 10,676 Scottish tests have concluded.Of these:■ 9957 tests were confirmed negative■ 719 tests were positive■ 22 patients who tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) have died Scotland is still on lockdown and Scots are
