An archbishop has taken a holy mission to the air as he flew over a Texas city at 1,000ft to bless residents during the coronavirus pandemic.
Archbishop Gustavo García-Siller embarked on his two-hour journey in a Second World War -era vintage plane on Monday along with a pilot who flew him over the city of San Antonio.
He said the flyover, which he called it as "Mission Hope", aimed to bring blessing to the locals and the churches in San Antonio as he announced that all of the 170 parishes in the diocese would reopen for daily Mass on May 19.
