At least 359 people have died in Greater Manchester's hospitals after testing positive for coronavirus. New NHS England data shows that 28 more COVID-19 deaths have been recorded since Wednesday (April 8).

On Thursday, further deaths have been announced at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, Stockport NHS Foundation Trust and Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust.

Bolton NHS Foundation Trust recorded three new coronavirus-related deaths, while Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust announced 11 more.
