Great British Bake Off star Nadiya Hussain has told fans she has experienced more racism since finding fame than ever before in her latest Instagram post.
The TV chef and author, 35, told her followers: ‘Just because you don’t experience racism, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, it does! ‘I have experienced more racism in 5 years working in the TV/Food industry than any other time of my life and it’s time to call it out!’ Nadiya didn’t elaborate on the incidents that have happened since she found fame, but she added: ‘#CallRacismOut’.
Her comments come in the wake of the death of George Floyd in America, which has since led to protests around the world for equality.
