BBC Proms tickets won't go on sale next month but bosses refuse to cancel the season. Bosses hope to push ahead with The Henry Wood Promenade Concerts over the summer period as the COVID-19 outbreak rages on worldwide.

Coronavirus has been sweeping the globe in a mass pandemic forcing the UK into lockdown to slow the spread of the disease and help our NHS manage the bug.

Mass gatherings have been cancelled as people have been advised to stay home. BBC Proms tickets won't be available to music lovers on May 16 as originally planned.
