A major Bolton shopping centre is set to reopen in a matter of weeks. The Market Place will be allowing customers to return from June 15, following an announcement from the government this week.

Visitors will be subject to social distancing rules, as well as a one-way system similar to those in place in most major supermarkets.

There will also be sanitiser stations around the centre for people to clean their hands and any baskets or bags. The shopping centre is home to some of the town's most popular chains, including Debenham's, Next and JD Sports but many of the individual brands are yet to confirm which of their locations will be reopen.
