Boris Johnson has been barricaded into Number 10 Downing Street as he remains in self-isolation to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
The Prime Minister tested positive for the virus on March 27, some eight days ago, but remains isolated amid reports the virus 'hit him hard'.
His symptoms were said to be mild but the first sighting of the politician since - when he joined the nation to clap for NHS staff on his doorstep on Thursday - led to speculation on social media that he has suffered badly with the bug.
In a video message he posted on social media on Thursday, the leader insisted he is feeling better despite a high temperature.
