The divisive handling of the coronavirus crisis by British prime minister Boris Johnson is to be made into a TV drama. The Conservative Party leader's handling of the public health crisis is reported to be under examination from BAFTA-winning director Michael Winterbottom.
According to Deadline, the project will be co-written by Winterbottom and produced in a partnership between Fremantle and True Detective producer Richard Brown's company Passenger and Winterbottom’s Revolution Films.
The drama series will follow Boris Johnson from his appointment as the British prime minister then focus on his handling of the coronavirus crisis.
