Boris Johnson stable and breathing without ventilator, Downing Street confirms

Coronavirus-stricken Boris Johnson is stable and breathing without a ventilator, the government has announced. A Downing Street spokesman said: "Boris Johnson has been stable overnight and remains in good spirits. "He is receiving standard oxygen treatment and is breathing without other assistance has not required ventilation or mechanical support. "He has not been diagnosed with pneumonia." The Prime Minister, 55, was moved to the ICU unit at St Thomas' Hospital in London after his condition worsened, and is currently being monitored.
