A care worker had her car stolen in Walkden while she was on a 24 hour shift. Julie Congleton Frost, from Ordsall, is a support worker and her car was stolen close to the home of a young lady with learning difficulties who she looks after.
Julie says she had only owned her modest Fiat 500 for less than a year after her old car was written off by a drunk driver. According to Julie, there was no sign of a break in and nobody in the neighbourhood had heard any noise.
She took to Facebook to post about her stolen car in the hopes of it being found. On her post she wrote: "Please share, I'm a key worker who was on a sleep shift yesterday from 2pm to 3pm today, m28 area Walkden road. "I support a vulnerable lady in her own home and rely on my car
