Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his fiancé Carrie Symonds have announced the name of their baby boy. The couple welcomed their first child together on Wednesday (April 29) just days after Mr Johnson returned to work.
The "healthy baby boy" was born at a London hospital and now they have revealed his name. Announcing the news on Instagram alongside picture of her cradling her son on Instagram on Saturday, Ms Symonds said: "Introducing Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson born on 29.04.20 at 9am. "Thank you so, so much to the incredible NHS maternity team at UCLH that looked after us so well.
I couldn't be happier. My heart is full." Ms Symonds also explained the reasoning behind the newborn's name. He is named Wilfred after Boris' grandfather,
