A consultant radiologist at the world-renowned Christie cancer hospital is facing jail following an illicit sexual encounter with another man aboard a passenger train between Chester and Manchester.Dr Mark Elias, 51, was detained along with 37-year old Phillip Goodman after both were said to have repeatedly given each other oral sex in full view of other passengers.
A court heard how Elias at one point took his trousers off and started exposing himself in the middle of the aisle.A conductor aboard the 10pm Manchester to Chester train eventually intervened when he saw the pair while checking a security camera.
The conductor was said to have told Elias to ''put it away'' before he reminded the men they were on a public train. He reported the matter to police when the train arrived at its destination.
At Chester Magistrates' Court, Elias and Goodman, both of Chester, admitted outraging public decency and were warned they faced six months jail under sentencing guidelines.
