London and Middlesex recorded two new deaths involving coronavirus patients on Tuesday and confirmed 15 new cases, while Elgin County recorded its first death and Lambton reported 11 new cases.
It brings the total number of deaths involving positive COVID-19 patients in London and Middlesex to three and the total number of confirmed cases to 52.
According to the Middlesex-London Health Unit, the two deaths involved a woman in her 80s who tested positive on March 25 after becoming infected through close contact with another case, and a woman in her 90s who tested positive on Monday.
How she became infected is still being determined. The area’s first death, reported over the weekend, involved a man in his 70s who tested positive on March 19
