Conservative MP Michelle Rempel-Garner on Wednesday pushed the governing Liberals over rapid COVID-19 testing, saying with people waiting days for results and reports that Quebec was using private firms to test teachers, more needs to be done.
Health Minister Patty Hajdu in response said testing was only one part of containing COVID-19, but accused Garner of “deceiving” Canadians because the government has had rapid testing in place since early in the pandemic..
