Coronavirus infection rates are on the rise in four boroughs of Greater Manchester, according to the latest figures. Rates have continued to drop in the remaining six areas.
Salford, Bolton, Tameside and Manchester have all seen their number of positive cases rise in the last week. However, despite dropping rates, Trafford continues to have the highest coronavirus infection rate in Greater Manchester, with a rate of 107.3 cases per 100,000 people in the week ending May 8.
In Greater Manchester as a whole, the infection rate is now 93.6 cases per 100,000 population.
