Despite Britain being placed into coronavirus lockdown, London's Tube was still crammed with commuters this morning. Photos show chaotic scenes as people crowded onto trains after Transport for London (TfL) reduced Underground service in an attempt to encourage residents to avoid non-necessary travel.
The decision to close up to 40 Tube stations and only run 15 trains an hour has been met with criticism, as it means Londoners who still have to go to work are forced into even closer proximity.
This increases their risk of COVID-19 transmission as they can't maintain the social distancing of two metres recommended by the Government.
